Singer/Songwriter
Joe Kissack moved from Wyoming In august of 2005 to Denver, CO. to study jazz piano with (Ed
“Pops” Dunklee), who was the late "Erroll Garner’s"
understudy at the London House in Chicago, and who performed with such names as
Tommy Dorsey and many others. He began working on his own music with hopes of
recording some day. His dream of recording became true much faster than he
had expected. Through Ed, he was introduced to drummer-producer-engineer
"Dino Cuneo". He mentioned that Joe should go up to his studio and
record. This gave Joe the incentive to take his music to a higher level and see what the songs would sound like in a real studio.
Joe started recording
with a mindset of doing an acoustic three-song demo, but the
project started to develop into a full album not long after the first recording
sessions. Dino encouraged him to have enough songs ready for a second full album,
and after Joe heard his drum style, Joe knew the album would have the
potential to sound much better than his expectations. Through
Dino’s progressive drum style, it gave the album a whole new dimension and
completed a big part of the songs. Studio musician "Jamie Krutz"
was hired for the
album "Country Glue" and the music was off and running.
